Great police "who done it" story. Relevant to right now. Sounds like a case that could be happening in any big city where political gains can and does interfere with police policy, procedures and promotions. This story could be flashed across the 24 hour news stations over and over again. Love the intrigue between brass and your everyday working officers/detectives. Love the twists, turns, ups and downs. You think you know what is really going on, but you really don't know till the very end. Characters you really get to know and so you either love them or you hate them. Best James Patterson and David Ellis book I have read. Be prepared to loose some sleep or work, once you start this book, it is very difficult to put it down. This was the best book I have read in a long time. I read all of Mr. Patterson's books and love them But this one is amazing. I thought I had it figured out 4 different time but was wrong. Do yourself a favor and read it.
